We Bought a Tractor! (June 11, 2017)

We collectively saved up and bought a used New Holland tractor with front-end loader and backhoe. A 30 hp, three cylinder diesel with 1500 hours on it.

 

 
It came with some extras: a manure bucket (strapped to the front-end loader in the picture below), a trench bucket for the backhoe, and forks (for lifting skids, strawbales, etc.).

Thank god for the discovery of mechanical advantage and fossil fuels!
